Since its founding more than 23 years ago by Lynea Lattanzio, The Cat House on the Kings has saved over 24,000 cats and 7,000 dogs (not counting the 40,000 animals we have spayed and neutered!) and currently cares for more than 700 cats and kittens, dozens of dogs and a handful of goats, who earn their keep as lawnmowers!
DONATIONS ALWAYS NEEDED!
The Cat House is a nonprofit corporation, receives no government or public funding, and relies entirely on donations from the public to carry out its mission.
LOCAL DONORS: We need your recyclables! We can use plastic bottles, aluminum cans, plastic grocery bags and newspapers. These items can be dropped off at the Cat House, or at the PETCO at Blackstone/Ashlan in Fresno. (Feel free to donate money, stamps and gift cards, too!) We can also use wet and dry food for our seniors, adult cats, and kittens.
FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! We need local foster homes. Please contact Tammy@Cathouseonthekings.com if you are interested in becoming a Cat House foster. We have cats and kittens (and a few dogs) available for adoption ~ check out our website or the Adoptable Animals Tab on our Facebook Wall.
